Louvre Windows and Replacement Options

Here at Window Masters we’ve been replacing old louvre windows with aluminium framed awning windows for a long time. Our awning windows are made to measure and are therefore able to be installed quickly and easily in almost any sized window. Since the Healthy Homes regulations were brought in, there has been a huge increase in demand for louvre window replacements due to the fact that the majority of older louvre windows have gaps between the glass panes and do not seal adequately. This creates draughts in the home which fails to comply with the healthy homes standards. We offer a simple and cost effective solution where we insert an opening (awning) window into the existing window frame as shown in the below photos. This approach can be completed quickly with minimal finishing work required (i.e. touch up painting etc) making it a great option for tenanted properties.
